Originally released by Disney Interactive in 1998 as a hybrid title for the Macintosh and PC, My Disney Kitchen gets re-cooked for the PlayStation, courtesy of BAM! Entertainment. Young chefs learn how to prepare various dishes, create meals and experiment with zany appliances, and acquire a practical sense of cleaning up after finished. More than 30 recipes are provided by FamilyFun Magazine, utilizing a fully stocked refrigerator and pantry in My Disney Kitchen. Gameplay encourages experimentation with ingredients, setting the table, arranging the room, serving food, and topping off concoctions with syrup, berries, and more.
Whether fixing eggs, bacon, and pancakes for Minnie and Mickey Mouse, baking a cake, cooking a steak, or trying out recipes, kids can control the speed of the cursor and save the game at any time. Learning is reinforced by requirements to follow specific steps during the cooking process, including adjusting flame strength on burners, preparing ingredients and utensils (e.g., buttering pans, turning on the ventilation fan, washing pots and pans), and cleaning the kitchen.

This game for the PlayStation console has 4,200 questions on subjects banal and baffling. Based on the popular TV game show, Jeopardy! 2nd Edition pits you against some advanced computer opponents in competition toward the tough Double Jeopardy bonus round. If you're not up for the pressure, you can play without opponents. Or for an extra challenge, you can try the Tournament of Champions mode. The game even includes audio and video Daily Doubles, where players listen to and watch clues for point prizes of varying amounts. To better simulate the experience of being a Jeopardy! challenger, the makers have included two sample qualifying exams (what, did you think they let just anyone on the show?) and behind-the-scenes video of the actual game-show studio.

Style Lab: Makeover is a single player fashion simulation game for Nintendo DSi and DS that allows tweens and teens to create their own virtual styles whenever they want. Packed with mini-game challenges designed to hone players' skills at creating different looks, and able to utilize imported images for use in virtual makeovers (this functionality only available through the DSi), it places players literally and figuratively at the center of the game, where the only limit is the player's imagination.
