- PAX 08: Rumor - Penny Arcade Expo Coming to East Coast

Today begins the Penny Arcade Expo, and tens of thousands of lucky people are there right now. Including some of our own homegrown talent. But what about the rest of us who can't just fly to the West coast on a whim to play some video games? The good news is, PAX is looking to expand. The even better news is that they're reportedly looking at holding a Penny Arcade Expo in Boston in 2010. According to Joystiq, who heard it from Gabe and Tycho, who heard it from Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins, in two years, we'll be getting a PAX on the best coast of all of them, the East coast. Hooray for us. Consider me in line.

New York Comic-Con. My bad. So I guess it's a rumor that it's Boston. I would totally fly down for that. Maybe drive. We'll see which is cheaper.
I'm not sure if this falls into the rumor category... They did announce they there was an East Coast PAX coming in 2010, being put together by the same guys who did the San Diego Comic-Con. Let me see if I can find a link...

Just one question; do you have to be a member of the press to attend or can you just be a gamer? Is being a gamer enough for credentials?
I'd make that trip, but it would be cooler if they shot for somewhere more in the center of the East coast. I'm just saying that cause I want them to run it in Philly.
It's about time someone does something big on the East Coast.....
