The game starts with a scene where you get introduced to the main characters, You first meet Professor T-bird And the battletoads Ritz, Rash and Pimple And the princess. But the Evil Queen gets her minions to kidnap the princess and zitz also gets kidnapped when trying to save her. Professor Oak and the Rash and pimple must make a plan and try to rescue pimple and rash can you do it?

The game

In one player mode you will play as Pimple but in too player the second player will be Rash. Throughout each level you will encounter different enemies ranging in a different skill level.
You mainly fight other animal’s pigs/flies some type of space ships. The levels are all quite fast paced the fighting is in your face but the enemies are easy to handle the controls are simple you use on button to jump and another to kick punch but the buttons change each level.
They are many different levels the first is platform based side scrolling similar to double dragon you go around fighting the pigs until you fight a big boss.
There is also a level where you are inside in a big tree trunk and you have to make your way to the bottom, fighting against flies and dragons which come out of the tree wall and many other enemies towards the bottom of the level it gets hard and you have to navigate your self through some big spikes at a fast paced.
The levels in this game are good because they are varied and different so its almost like playing a different game each level. The levels do get progressively harder. but you do get given bonus levels to help you out.

2 player modes

There are two different 2-player modes one where you can fight against the other player, and one where you cannot hit the other player.

Graphics

I think the graphics in this game are pretty good considering the age, and some of the effects are fantastic and some not. The characters also look good. The best graphics are on the 3rd level where you ride a space bike its fast and intense colours make this fun.

Controls

The controls work pretty well in this game the only real flaw is in the jumping sometimes the game doesn’t seem to react quickly enough. The variation in controls and levels is what makes this game stand out above some of the other games.

Sound

The sound in this game is quite upbeat and fast tempoed, which suits this game well, but after a will it would give me a headache after a few hours of playing. But the sound in general is good.Overall

I think this is a good game that most people would enjoy especially fans of double dragon. I recommend this game for over 8s as there is a lot of fighting, this game can get very tough. This game is not perfect but a game that i love because it really is fun to play in either 1 player mode or 2-player mode.
