I just wanted to get an idea of who else in the Philly area and surrounding suburbs was going to the VGXPO in a couple weeks, and if anyone has gone in the past (to any of the event's locations) what it was like.
Here's some info for those not already in the know:

I'll probably only be going for 1 day, but since I live kind of far away it's the best I'll be able to pull off. Hopefully I'll see you there!
I'd love to go, but sadly, no moneys D:
I had fun last year but I dint reserve in time. I most likely will be going to the new penny arcade expo in 2010 considering one is coming to Boston and its only a small drive away
I think I might be checking it out this year. Although, I might have to weasel my way out of visiting the in-laws first.
"Retro booths are so out."
BITE YOUR TONGUE! Retro is never going to go out... that's the whole point!
I had the privilege of going with Gamervision last year and felt a definite lack of Dev activity, a few gameshare companies were there, which was cool. There was a giant Rock Band truck too, which was cool cause I had never seen Rock Band before. Seeing Jack Thompson speak was also really cool in that "I can't believe nobody climbed on the stage and strangled him yet" kind of way. Other than that it was just a lot of people trying to push hardware off on you. It's cool just to see the stuff that people are making to enhance your gaming experience.
Retro booths are so out. Jack probably won't be there this year, so that's a bummer.
It's too bad that Jack Thompson won't be there again this year... he and I have unfinished business...
GV @ VGXPO FTW!
i'll post again when i can think of more acronyms :)
I will be somewhere admits the videogame fans....Last year was OK....this year should be a hell of a lot better since it was taken over by some of the media giants in the area. Last year the publishers and developers who showed up were few and far between, but this year I heard it's going to be packed....
Last year was a lot of fun, I'm looking forward to being there again this year.
You should totally stop by our booth, we will be rocking out at VGXPO the entire weekend!
GV will be there in full effect, son!
