Ah, Duke Nukem Forever. First announced in April 1997, it's become something of a legend in the video game community, with rumors of its existance rising up every once in awhile before being quickly disproven, akin to UFO sightings, big foot, and Rob Schneider's comedic talents.

But now, it finally seems like something actually might come out. Kotaku's got a video from Crackle up that has honest-to-gods gameplay footage from the thing, which is more than we've gotten in the last 11 years. Granted, there isn't much you can tell from it, but this should give hope to the notion that it will eventually come out.

Funny thought: When and if it eventually comes out, there will be kids, teenagers even, playing it who weren't even born yet when it was announced. And that's insane.
