i actually really liked mirrormask, even though i think the general consensus was that it sucked. i mean, it was slow, no doubt, but there was something really lovely about it, too.

oh i LOVE terry pratchett. the discworld books are awesome. very clever, very funny. there's a ton of them and they definitely don't need to be read in any kind of order. i also really like the wintersmith, which is supposedly a young adult novel, but it is so funny i actually laughed out loud while reading it.

you might also enjoy good omens, by terry pratchett and neil gaiman.

why thank you! it's nice to know someone is reading my lists. :)

i am a huge sci-fi nerd and philip k. dick has always been one of my favorite authors, with blade runner definitely on my list of top 10 movies. years ago i had a blade runner game for the PC which was truly excellent and brought in a lot of the little details from the book that didn't make it into the movie. no one does existential philosophy like pkd - the titles alone always tell a great story. i also love "i can remember it for you wholesale", which was turned into the movie total recall.

btw, it's awesome that you have debussy on your music list. he's always been one of my favorite composers.

wii-mote lightsabers... i've heard rumblings here and there. the potential definitely exists but it had better come with the sound effect intact!
