I freaking hate April Fools Day. As a gamer, I advise you to just not check any gaming websites for the first few days of April and don’t even bother reading the April issue of any gaming magazine. Why? Because everyone is full of crap! That’s why!

Last year, EGM got my hopes up by announcing “Mushroom Kingdom Hearts.” While I knew it was complete and total B.S., I still hoped to God it was true. The very idea of Disney characters running crazily around the Mushroom Kingdom and Mario wielding a keyblade sent me into a geek coma that took weeks to recover from. EGMs next target: Halo and Lego fans.

In a two-for-one annoyance, EGM has screenshots and details of the newest Lego game in what is becoming a Lego Empire: Lego Halo! The game would cover the full Halo trilogy and feature some fun first-person action as well as the Lego branded third person hyjinks. While this would be cool and is entirely possible, EGM is a lying jerk and you should ignore them completely.

Gamervision is above this crap, and will always make sure to bring truth to you on a daily basis.

We will, on the other hand, be sure to keep you up to date on which websites are pulling crap in the name of April Fools. Gamers are a gullible and easily excitable bunch, don’t crush our dreams, people!
