- Flash and Sonya Blade Confirmed for MK vs DC

The Flash of DC Comics fame and Sonya Blade, heroine of the Mortal Kombat series have both been confirmed as playable characters in MK vs DC Universe. The above image isn’t the leaked screenshot from Neogaf, but a nice, higher resolution image of your favorite Keystone City track star from Gamespot. There aren’t any images of Sonya as of yet, but below is an image of her from a different Mortal Kombat game. Unless they plan on giving her a robotic arm or third breast, I imagine that she will not be too far removed from that.
I have been somewhat forgiving up until now with the addition of DC characters into the Mortal Kombat series, but I think this is where I draw the line. Superman is weak to magic, so they at least were able to explain his damaged state by saying that the “colliding worlds” was very magical or some crap, and Batman is a dude in a suit, so that makes sense too.
The Flash can demolecularize himself, pass through an enemy, and disintegrate them. He doesn’t even have a real weakness, according to TheQuarterBin.com’s comic guru the Flash’s only Achilles' heel is his family, and unless Sub Zero plans on strapping his wife to his boots and kicking I don’t see him having much of a problem dealing with a little ice.

What's up with the Flash's gloves? And those weird ass armbands? That's a strange design choice to make, especially since the Flash's costume is so simple and iconic. I hope his finisher calls all the other Flashes from the timestream to whoop on his opponent.
