At the UK event, Play.com, Ubisoft has announced that Haze will be a Playstation 3 exclusive. This news shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone following the games development, as Free Radical has commented many times on how much they enjoy developing for the platform. There is no confirmation as of yet on whether or not this means the title will never see a PC port, just that console gamers will need to pick up a Sixaxis to get their game on.

Every bit of news that is announced dealing with Haze can be taken several ways. First there are the delays, which can be seen as the game either being made better or there being something wrong. Next is the Gamestop Canada deal where gamers can bring back the game within 7-days for a full refund, which could mean they are either confident in its staying power or fearful for first week sales.

Now that Free Radical has announced its exclusivity, the question is if the final product was good enough to buy exclusive rights for, or if the game isn’t worth spending money to port to other systems. In the case of Haze, I wouldn’t be surprised by either.  

A few weeks back on the Somethingcast, Veggie Jackson said that he expects Haze to be the biggest let down of the year. With the game only a few weeks away we will soon see if this great looking title lives up to the hype.
