Further exploiting their purchase of everything Tom Clancy, Ubisoft has announced the development of Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. H.A.W.X., aside from having an abysmal name that apparently stands for “High-Altitude Warfare X,” will take the Clancy story to the skies with 50 flyable jets. While the information is fairly light as of yet, Ubisoft promises four-player co-operative play, which seems to be becoming standard for Tom Clancy titles.
The other feature is what they are calling an Enhanced Reality System (ERS). The ERS will show information such as speed, incoming missiles, and other important information to make everyone feel at home in the air. With Ubisoft’s recent trend of releasing games twelve months before anyone expects them, I figure we will see H.A.W.X. by the end of 2008 for hardcore extreme insane crazy-ass flying.
