- No LittleBigPlanet Demo This Year

I can’t deny that one of the main reasons I own a Playstation 3 is for the horribly misplaced LittleBigPlanet. The cute, customizable characters and promises of online co-op are too much for me to handle. Before I had the PS3 the videos for the game were the only thing that truly made me envy early adopters, and with each new trailer I see I am reminded of the unfruitful promise Sony made for a fall of 2007 demo.
Fall is now winter and 2007 is nearly dead, so odds are it wouldn’t be in our best interest to begin holding our breaths. According to MTV (via joystiq), we will not see the demo anytime soon. A Sony spokesperson stated, "I can officially confirm that there won't be a demo this year."
Sad news, but not unexpected. I can sit back and wait though, even though the thick pile of things to do this winter is falling thing by the day. There are only a few games left and then I go back to hours and hours of Halo 3 and CoD4.

Little Big Planet looked like one of the coolest games I've seen since Portal....
