Every week, Sony updates their awfully designed and nearly impossible to navigate Playstation Store with demos, videos, downloadable content, and themes for the navigator. While it is supposedly receiving a much-needed redesign, it is, as of now a mess of buttons and pictures. Even so, every week has seen some content that is worth mentioning for anyone who has the system, and this week has a few things to look for.

The main additions are some new characters for Pain, the popular download game that is nickel and diming its fans with microtransactions of new characters. New for this week is Ginger the Nurse and Muffy the Cheerleader, who will set you back $.99 (or 3948 MS Points).

On the demo front there is only Major League Baseball 2K8, which pales in compassion to the stunning demo for MLB08 the Show, which came out a few weeks ago for the system. Save your bandwidth, in other words, it isn’t worth the hard drive space.

That content, along with the Rock Band and Guitar Hero downloadable content, posted when they hit Xbox Live a few days a go, available on your Playstation 3 for the week. The full list is below, enjoy!

Toy Home Expansion Pack ($6.99)
The Toy Home Expansion Pack adds even more racing fun to the miniature universe. This pack includes 6 new vehicles and 2 new playrooms, each with 3 separate configurations. Players will now be able to engage in 4-player battle both offline and online and check out their rankings online. Also included are a new set of courses in the single player mode and a free-run mode.
