One of the coolest games to come out in the early days of the Gameboy Advance was
Super Dodgeball. It followed the official dodge ball rules and was good fun. However, it has been years since the original and fans have been left speechless and without any way to play the sport they love without risking exposure to sun or the possible sweat bead. Now their time has come. In the most recent Famitsu (the largest Japanese gaming magazine) a sequel has been confirmed, allowing up to eight players to compete wirelessly with only one cartridge. There is no news on an online mode but or any touch screen controls. However, it is not hard to brainstorm how the features of Nintendo’s handheld could apply to the act of someone throwing an object. A swipe in the correct direction would be a fun action to behold. There is still no American publisher on the title so as of now a release date may be out of reach.
