Name: MLB POWER PROS
Genre: Sports, Baseball
Platform: Nintendo Wii

Dear 2K Sports,
Hey, it’s me again. I need to explain how developing games on the Wii works. I thought we were past this stage in our relationship, seeing as there have already been like a hundred games for the system and it has sold over 11 million units worldwide, but we need to talk.
Before I started to play your game I thought I would test the waters and read some other reviews and see what I was getting myself into. So far I have found none and that really confused me. When The Bigs came out there were plenty of reviews and as the playoffs in the MLB begin, surely there must be some coverage of this game.
But having played it, now I know why there haven’t been any. Across the country there are game reviewers trying to figure out if this is just a cruel, sad joke. They keep putting it into their Wii and loading up the exhibition mode to give it another try. When it is their turn to bat they swing the remote sideways and watch as the pitchers balls continue to pass by them. When it is their turn to pitch they swing their arm down and see their dull-eyed pitcher standing idly…
We, gamers, are letting you make your games look like shit. We all know you can do better because the Wii isn’t less powerful then an Xbox or Gamecube, but we are allowing you to make games that look like last-gen rejects as long as they are fun and have good use of the Wiimote. That was the deal – that was the trade off. You spend less time on graphics and give us ugly, fun games and we give you fifty dollars.
I think you forgot that and left out the motion controls in your newest game for the Wii: MLB Power Pros. It is ugly (so step one is complete) but it is missing the fun. Sure, buried on the bottom of the screen there is the option to use just the remote and play a horrible dubbed down version of the Wii Sports Baseball but that doesn’t count. Sure, it is more complex as a baseball game, but falls miles short as a Wii game.
This game is a travesty and blatant consumer abuse. You developed this game with Mii-like characters on the cover holding baseball bats to get people wanting an expanded version of Wii Sports and you didn’t even try to deliver. Instead you have tricked buyers into buying a mediocre looking game with mediocre controls and should be ashamed. It isn’t fun and you should feel bad about yourselves – all of you.
Love,
Coop

O_o
Wow, this review is guttertrash.
You don't know anything about baseball. Nothing.
You're just a graphics whore. You have no right to review games. This PATHETIC thing you wrote gives me the impression you watched a video on IGN and then made you review based off that.
Your review is completely worthless and speaks almost NOTHING of the actual gameplay.
Give it a 4/10 based off a full, objective review, not some idiot graphics whore GIMMICK post. This is garbage. Just garbage.
Please fire this man immediately, and make way for people that know what they're doing.
this game is great! the stats, the customization, the game play. its the best baseball game since RBI and baseball stars for NES. Ever other baseball game i have ever started a season in got boring, and i stopped playing. but power pros, i'll play 4-5 games in a day if i have time to. don't believe me? rent it first and try it, completely under rated.
dear mlb power pros your game sucks....
In my opinion, people shouldn't care if a game is ugly as long as it's fun.
way to hit em where it hurts coop, i really enjoyed the article
