What time period does Soul Caliber take place in? When Soul Caliber 2 came out, it had Spawn and Haiheichi (I -know- I'm screwing that name up) from Tekken as bonus characters, both of whom are from the modern era.

Also, what material is Taki's outfit made of that allows for maximum boobosity, yet also withstands constantly being assaulted with bladed objects and not rip or tear?

At least Ivy's is a bit more combat worthy, though another thing that I sometimes wonder when me and the little bro throw down on the stage of history is whether or not some of these Soul Caliber girls ever have a "Wardrobe Malfunction" in the middle of a fight. What if Sophitia or Ivy popped out during a match? Do they call a pause while they fix themselves? How many of the other combatants have the courteousy to let her adjust her top before they go back to hacking at each other? Would Nightmare give Ivy the time of day if, say, a fastener broke on her outfit during a fight? Or Tali lifted her arms a bit too high fighting with that ring thing? Or, even more, if I'm seeing Talim's new design right, she's quite suceptible to a stray gust of wind. I think if that happens, we may have an entirely new brand of conflict in the ring. Which may be why the women of Soul Caliber fight as hard as they do. They don't want Nightmare or anyone for that matter getting "exicted" at their expense.
