Hey, Zen Studios! Wario called, he wants his game concept back!

I had my doubts the moment I saw this game up on the Marketplace. The only other Rocky & Bullwinkle game I'd played prior to this had been a really lousy NES game where Bullwinkle is trying to get to a lodge meeting while Borris Badenov is trying to blow him up with bombs.

I LOVE Rocky & Bullwinkle, let's set that straight. But without the writers or concepts of way back when, it feels overglorified...yes, they are Rocky and fucking Bullwinkle. We get it.

The game consists of what seems like a lot of features...probably all good and well in their place...but the gameplay is thus...complete a ten second or so mini-game a la Wario Ware based around the Bullwinkle Mythos...the Fractured Fairy Tails...Mr. Peabody and his wayback machine...but all without the witty narration and back and forth, or story for that matter, which is what made the cartoon great. It feels to me as if they were just cashing in on the nostalgia of older Gamers like myself. I'm down with that...just do it well.

To be honest, Rocky & Bullwinkle would fair better as a Point-and-Click game rather than a party game.

Give this one a skip, unless you're a die hard Bullwinkle lover.
