- Did anyone else get a scratched copy Madden Collectors Edition????

The other night I went and picked up my copy of Madden 09 Collectors Edition and walking to the car I heard the unmistakeable sound of the disk dancing around in the case. After a small panic attack I opened the box up in the parking lot to find that the Game disk was not secured in the case and had been repeatedly scratched up by the thing thats supposed to hold the game in place. The disk is scratched so bad that it looks like its just really dirty, but I cleaned the disk thoroughly with a disk cleaning cloth, crossed my fingers and put the disk into my moody xbox 360 (my disk reader only works about 50% of the time and is a completely different issue), and surprisingly enough the game works and I have yet to have any problems. Is there anyone out there that has the same problem or worse?
The thing that holds the game in the case wasn't broken, the disk just wasn't securely in it and the disk looks like this now.
(I scanned the disk and the case because they are both very reflective and hard to take accurate pictures of)
***UPDATE (8/14): I went to GameStop last night and told them what happened and they were more than happy to give me a new game disk. Its sucks that it happened in the first place, but now I have a Madden disk in my collectors edition with Bret Farve in Packers uniform on it.

Eek! That sucks. I hate when that happens. And, yes, Gamestop will do it as long as you present the receipt. Or, at least, they've done it for me in the past.
For all I know they might have done it because I frequent the locations nearby often enough for some to know my name and the games I play.
I got it from GameStop. They will give me a new copy if I take it back?
What store did you buy it from? Most major retailers will just give you a new copy.
That sucks.
