What is your Madden IQ?
Posted 3 months ago by HoorayForRobots

Now that I have had a chance to actually play Madden 09  for about a week now and have the experience with the Madden IQ system, which totally put me into my place, I would like to know what is your Madden IQ?

My initial Madden IQ was 538 and now after recovering from more than 100 point drop, I am back up to 507....for now.

The tests that determine your initial Madden IQ seem unbalanced (the offense is a lot easier than the defense) and the scoring that it uses during gameplay seems like a messed up version of bowling scoring.

For example, if I have a low score in the pass offense section and get a user pick and go 3 and out, my Madden IQ won't go up at all, but if I get a user pick and score on that possession, then hold the opposing team for 2 downs my Madden IQ will go up a bit.

The system seems to work ok, the games that I am playing are close half of the time and blowouts the other half (blowouts going either way, I am total of 3-4 right now in my Madden season).

I just wanted to find out what other people thought and find out what other people's Madden IQ is.

I fancy myself a decent enough Madden player, and completely agree that the tests are very skewed towards success on the offensive side. When I first took the test I scored a 470 or so. Don't take the test seriously. The best way is to play 5 or 6 games before you get an accurate IQ. Half-way through my franchise, my IQ is now a healthy 690. Where'd you score Robot?
