Sheesh. I failed the test. I also don't play fighting games and never had reason to memorize the Konami code. Oh well.

So what's up in the world of Jozzy? I see that you worked for a company that didn't hire me because I was "too good a customer" as a friend of mine was told during his employee paperwork. My friend tried to translate it to being "You spend a lot of money in the store, Marc," and then went on to say "That's what Todd said, anyway." I told him bullshit and that I had applied during the reign of three managers. All said they would hire me and didn't.

I thought it was because I make myself informed enough in the gaming world that I could easily tell someone what was going on with whatever game they would ask about. For better, or for worse, they would leave my store happy. But I'm glad I don't work for them because I would have to work with people that have less knowledge than myself. Most of them are gamers in the sense of playing video games. I pride myself in knowing what's going on otherwise, along with playing the games.

Our sub-culture is nearing its end. It's a sad, sad, thing. Sure more people play games now, but wouldn't you rather have it where we were a "misunderstood" population of the world? I know I'm reaching far on this one but what is it about something being in the mainstream that bothers gamers? There are others that share my point of view.

Oh and I, too, am waiting for a Final Fantasy VII remake for the PS3! They even teased it at the end of the credits of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. Amazing how I went from thinking Cloud was the most bad-ass character in that universe and went to thinking of Zach Fair being the most bad-ass character. It took an attack of many Shinra soldiers to defeat him. Cloud is his remnant. His legacy.

Well that was a lot of typing. Now to get back to finishing my homework. Long nights this semester with homework. Just a lot of it. Oh well. Must have been spoiled last semester with, maybe, three hours of homework per week.

So, because I have been a total space cadet lately and also had no idea what day of the month it was, I kinda forgot to wish you a happy birthday, and for that, I am a jerk.

I'm sorry I haven't been by, weekends have been spent trying to get the rest of our stuff unpacked and get settled in. We will probably be by sometime in the near future though!
