It's tuesday morning i've just woken up and am ready to see nintendo's PC. An hour and a half wasted is all I have to say. All that was interesting was the new Animal Crossing and thats pretty much it. it seems as if they were more with the 3rd party games than first. Seriously GTA on DS, I don't see a good future for that game since I can see the headlines (Boy kills friends after GTA on the DS showed him how to kill). You know a lot of 10 year olds are going to get this. Which now leads me to Wii Music. It sounds different, but when they said they would take away the actual challenge, it was official, they sold out the hardcore gamers. Seriously you can sum up the PC with Nintendo and there 3rd party games with only two 1st party games. I now feel ashamed to own a Wii but hey there is still the Virtual Console right? Not really since licencing issue are what keep games like Goldeneye 007 and TMNT IV turtles in time from being on the VC. Seriously Nintendo where are the good VC games besides the ones on the VC right now. Bottom line Nintendo has failed with the hardcore and is now dependent on the Casual, for shame, for shame...
I agree software wasn't their strength this year, but if the 1:1 remote is as reactive as they say...there could be some really sweet stuff in the near future. I'm thinking star wars.
Ashamed? Isn't that a bit... strong?
Be it hyperbole or not, there are still two days left to E3, so I wouldn't count out a surprise announcement. There is hope yet.
So much for Nintendo's big announcement at E3 this year. Guess I'll have to stop sticking up for the Wii.....
