Red Rings of Death, sounds horrible right? well I have been a victim of this travesty. Last night I was going to play some GTA IV but guess what, it freezes and finally "kills" my console. Now I have been browsing around and this is becoming a common thing for GTA IV to "kill" the console. Then again it could be my thoughtless mistakes on the poor thing like playing games for too long!!! (i can see what you're thinking and yes that was very N00bish of me but gaming is all I got right now). So as I become depressed and emo(sarcasm) I start to search for solutions for this technical error. Turns out I have to call and register my console. Thankfully for Microsoft, they issue the RROD coffin box for repairs for free. So now that i'm without an Xbox 360(which only lasted 13 months) I will now venture to the next best thing, old skool Nintendo games, yeah.
Well, if Microsoft didn't have a 3 years warranty then it would be an issue for me... but here in Canada you're guaranteed a new system and not a refurbed.
And the amount of games on 360 kinds of void the RRoD issue to me, even though I'd rather prefer not having to deal it that too.
Blargh. That settles it. No 360 for me.
Sad state-of-affairs. I don't think it's noobish to want to play video games all night. That's your God-given right, man!
