Man arrested for stalking a 15 year old girl he met on Xbox Live
Posted 11 months ago by lane

Stolen from digg as per usual:

i'll give it the lane run down summary. basically this 20 year old dude Joshua Stetar from New York met a 15 year old girl over xbox live when they played a few games of halo together. so this creepdog starts sending flowers and packages to this girl's home address (which he found on the internet, thanks google!) via the mail and her parents just return to sender. following this he began to harass the girl via text messages, in retort the parents got her a new phone number. this did nothing to disseude the guy from looking up the new number and driving to spokane, washington where the girl lives. so the creep drives past the girls house and texts her that hes going to rape her and her sister then gets picked up by the cops at a local motel and gets charged with felonious stalking charges but was released on bond. its one thing that i can't get a decent game of COD4 in without the damn thing blinking connection interrupted everyfive minutes, but now we have to worry about weirdo stalkers taking their xbox live harassment to a whole new level. i think gamingtoday news put it best with this screenshot:

Dude... are there not enough e-dating sites for creeps and losers to find their true soulmates?

This would be a good place to start.
