This is the trailer for Spencer Halpin's upcoming film "Moral Kombat". In this film we get full explanations of why video games are evil from two of the biggest fucking douche nuggets on the planet Jack Thompson and Senator Joe Lieberman. In the trailer alone Thompson, the pompous shithead that he is, explains that the terrorists that crashed planes into the World Trade Center were trained by flight simulators. Now not only should we not be able to play FPSs or GTA but now flight sims are going to teach us exactly how to fly a 747 into a building? Let us all hope that sometime in the future this asshole is hit by a truck or contracts a terminal illness so we can game in peace. (NormallyI'm not this angry but honestly Jack Thompson and his fucking outlandish rhetoric make me want to pull my hair out.)

Saw it was a good thing at the vgexpo
I noticed on the G4 interview this past weekend that Jack usually looks at the floor when he talks...to me that's the first "Tell" of a liar who doesn't even believe the crap that's spewing from their own mouths....
I hate Jack thompson.
thank u for posting this.
f assholes.. i agree with what u wrote
I didn't know they screened it at VGXPO. I would really like to see it.
Yeah, I really wish there was a market for documentaries in theaters, because this should really be seen by a lot of people. It'd be nice if Halpin made this available to schools/churches as a way to foster conversation. But the real problem is that most people who come down on the Jack Thompson / Joe Lieberman side of the debate are content to do the equivalent of putting their fingers in their ears and going, "La la la!"
Either way, this documentary is totally awesome. Despite a few odd choices of footage, it's a great film. Saw it at VGXPO with Sean sitting in front of me and am just DYING to get it on DVD.
It is hard to argue that "flight sims are going to teach us exactly how to fly a 747 into a building." They CAN teach us that, but they don't tell us to. That is the line that needs to be drawn.
