Alright... So. I was thinking. I play online games as you can tell. So, what I was thinking is, (i'm sure other people have done or thought about it before) What if you were in a group or a clan on a certain game... Like WoW or HL or whatnot... And you've been playing with the same people for a few months or maybe even years, and then you guys get the idea of meeting up somewhere, hanging out, and then LAN? There would be overnight stays at a hotel and whatnot.

Now, I appologize, but I kind of dont know. My life is so small it's something you could just kick dirt over and never see it again.

Is there a name for that? Plus, what if you could? and if I wanted to host such an event, where would I get started?

Anyway, let's change to the real subject. Now, if there was such a time in my life that I could pull something like this together, I'd like to have it around Thanksgiving because of football games... Rumble?... get it?

Well anyway, What would be some choice games? Not only will you lan, but there would be competitions in each event. You could win stuff and you'd get some kind of trophy for being best at all them. 

I'd be thinking, of course: 

Halo 1,2,3
World of Warcraft
Counter-Strike (which I canNOT stand)
DDR
Guitar Hero 1,2,3
Super Smash Brothers
Mario Kart + Double Dash

See if you can add any really awesome games on the end there. I'd love to hear. Plus, see if you can find what I was talking about before. is it some kind of Meet and Greet? or... what? Just tell me if it's a stupid idea or not and if I should go for it.
