Whelp today is the day I stumbled across Bethesda's achievement list for the new highly anticipated Fallout 3 game set to release on October 28th of this year. Fans should be prepared for one wild ride through a post apocalyptic nightmare where fear and despair rule the land. It is a time where rival factions battle each other relentlessly for control of a city block made up of radioactive dirt. The world has gone to sh%t and now It is you, or them, and you will have to keep on your toes because death lurks around every mangled piece of steel, and pile of rubble. Scavenging for items to build weapons with will be your only means of survival, in the desolate wasteland you once called home. With 200 or so endings by the time the game is actually packed inside its plastic box, Fallout 3 looks like it will be one game to remember.

At a recent roundtable interview in London, Bethesda Softworks vice persiodent Pete Hines was unable to confirm if their upcoming Fallout 3 will feature trophy support for the PLAYSTATION 3 version.
"I don't know. I can't tell you for sure whether or not we'll have them or not," said Hines.
It's a different story regarding Xbox 360 Achievements though, with Hines confirming that they are "mostly complete".
"... we still like to mess with that stuff sometimes in late stages, just in terms of 'yeah it's taking a little too long to get this one', which is why we didn't want anybody to look at them, because I wouldn't want you guys putting something out that we then changed and is completely different," said Hines. "Yeah, they're largely in there and there's some really good ones in there... some that I rather enjoy."

I was on the fence also, but I think I just fell off to the buying side.....
I'm all over this game now. I was going to hold off, but after seeing everything from PAX and Leipzig, this is now a definitive day one purchase.
