In honor of earth day, I thought I'd give you a little ditty about recycling!
Enjoy!
Yes, Portal is, indeed, a brilliant concept. In my opinion, it's the most unique game of the year. Not only is the gameplay fantastic, but the little things like the computer voice and her witty comments really make this game stand out in a crowded field of great titles this year.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed Episode 2 a little more than Portal. The characters, especially Alyx, are so endearing to me. That, combined with the enthralling cinematic style of storytelling, and the attention to detail (the facial expressions and subtle body language are noteworthy) give it the edge, in my mind.
No problem, really. I've lost interest in the subject anyway.
Moving on to a different topic, from all of the games you've played this year, which one do you think is the best so far? As for me, it's the Orange Box, followed closely by Metroid Prime 3, then Super Mario Galaxy.
I'm not sure if what you say is true, but I intend to do some research on the subject. (Do you happen to remember your source?) However, that isn't to say I don't agree with your point on the effects of video game violence.
Wow, you must not be too picky with what games you play. =) Strangely, I read more about video games now than I actually play them. I used to play them all the time, but few games hold my interest for long--or the game is too challenging for me to continue.
Good luck finding a Wii any time this year. According to several stories I have read, Nintendo can't meet supply with demand this season. =( Too bad, really.
When I finally got a Wii earlier this year, it was used (and it still works!). There have been few opportunities since for me to get one new. But, as I've already stated before, it's certainly worth it for the first-party titles.
To name one as an exampIe, I think you'd love Metroid Prime 3. Gorgeous visuals, fantastic controls, and exciting gameplay make for one of the best Wii games this year--so far, anyway.
My pleasure. =) I appreciate the compliment.
I haven't listed any 360 games because I currently have few reasons to own one. I recently made a wish list of 360 and PS3 games, and it turns out there are more PS3 games that I want than for the 360--which includes multi-platform titles.
With the prevelant 360 over-heating dilemma still existent, as well as a recent PS3 price-drop, I'm more inclined to get a PS3 right now than a 360.
What 360 games do you have, and which games are you looking forward to playing?
