Available from lostmitten's Etsy shop is this rocking Pac-Man coaster set. Complete with 6 coasters and caddy, these coasters can take on any dewy glass. It's nice to see someone use Perler beads because come to think of it, that's one craft/hobby that can easily embody all that is 8-bit. This set is available for $22, but you could always make your own. A great place to get Perler beads would be Ikea for really cheap ($7 for the huge bundle of beads, alone). Arrange, iron, and you got yourself some serious fun.

Being the Perler beading expert myself, having practicing my expertise since age 4, I just may have a calling to blast the net with some projects. Ikea, here I come. Make sure to check out lostmitten's other Perler projects.

Nerf Gun Wii-Mote Blaster

Here's a Nerf gun the Gamervision compound needs to add to its arsenal. Not much information here, but expert speculators speculate a connection to EA's Nerf N-Strike. As if shooting a Nerf gun wasn't fun enough. Whatever is happening here, it is good. It is very very good.

Pocket Guitar Hero

Let's be honest. As much Guitar Hero may or may not be enjoyed by those who are both musically inclined or declined, that controller's got nothing on the guitar. As we risk whatever cool we have to enjoy a moment of the rockstar fantasy world, we do NOT look as cool as we feel. But that's a risk we're willing to take for the sheer pleasure we get from GH. We thought we have reached our pinnacle of tacky and we accepted. Boy were we wrong.

If you have no problem shedding that last layer of dignity, Basic Fun’s Guitar Hero Caribiner offers some on the go button pushing rock. Songs included:

There's just something so horribly out of context about playing this in public.. To whip this out and start jamming along without even holding it properly seems so painfully awkward that all I can think of is a 3-year-old playing with a Fisher Price toy.
