Wordy Clock

People have very different ways of expressing themselves. For one person it could take them 5 words to explain something while it may take another 5 minutes. While digital and analog clocks are to the point, the Idea Of A Clock II needs a little more space to spit it out.

Though we can register numbers as sounds inside our heads, I'm still not so sure that I'd adapt well to reading the time in words. Seems kind of silly. It spells out exactly what I say in my head yet I'm sure it would leave me staring at a clock for longer than I would want to be caught doing. I swear you guys, I can read!

Camera Lens Bracelet

I'm currently taking photography and have gotten pretty comfortable with my lens. I'd go as far to say that f-stops are my homies. The shutter speed dial on the other hand, I'm not so crazy about. Having said that, this would be a great gift for any photo loving bracelet wearer or, you know...me.

Hello Pitbull

Sean just sent me the link to this adorable sticker of Hello Pitbull. After all the horrid Hello Kitty products that have been churning out as of lately, my beloved child friend needs to be put down by the vet of good taste. Hello Pitbull will take the place of Hello Kitty in my heart for has not been corrupted... yet. Will someone start printing up notepads and smelly erasers already? kthnxbai

Cell Phone Allergies

A lot of us have allergies at this time of year. You can definitely point out who's struggling with the sniffles during the day here in the GV office. But could you possibly be allergic to your cell phone? It's plausible! If you find yourself feeling itchy, rashy, and just no good around the ears and head after some cell time, you may be having cell phone allergies. And no, I don't mean being allergic to your Mom calling you too much. If you are sensitive to metals you may have a reaction to those in gadgets, like the nickel in cell phone batteries. So if you find yourself feeling under the weather, it may be more than just seasonal.

Milk Gone Bad

Here's a fantastic and Dairy worthy collection. Milk Gone Bad is a collection of 8 lamps that appear to look like any ordinary milk carton. Hit the lights and a hidden design is revealed and illuminated. Milk Gone Bad? Hardly! This milk is clearly better than anything you could buy at the grocery store.

You can order any of the 8 designs from AnAtomic Factory for about $94.00.

Turtle On Wheels

Here's a sweet little story of a man and his love for a turtle. Jim Lee, a contributor to MAKE, was the proud owner of this fierce little turtle. After being hit by a car in September 2000, the Eastern Box Turtle suffered from shell damage and was partially paralyzed. Nursing her back to health, Jim repaired her shell with velcro strips which were removed after a few weeks of recovery. While her hind legs remained damaged, Jim used velcro, once again, to attach removable airplane model wheels to her shell so she could scoot herself about. She had recovered to the point of navigating her way around (inside and out) the house. Sadly, the little turtle died in 2002, but had a nice last run. Kudos to Jim for such a creative idea to care for his shelled friend.

I wish more people were allergic to cell phones, especially the loud ones on the train. Hey, did it ever occur to you people that we don't all want to listen to your conversation?

People have allergies to everything these days. I think doctors are just making up diseases to sell drugs. think about it!
