You know you've been watching The Simpsons for a long time when you can exercise some unrecognized cartography skills to map out the city of Springfield. You also know you've been watching The Simpsons for a long time when you actually know the listed locations and which episodes they're from... All in all, it looks like a lot of us just might love that show a little too much, but we got to hand it to Dan Cameron for this one. Head on over to Flickr for the full version with attached notes.
The Big Lebowski - 10th Anniversary Limited Edition!

The Big Lebowski is, hands down, one of my favorite movies of all time. Oh, and I know I don't stand alone when I make that statement. After 10 years, the Coen Brother's film has grown even more notoriety, respect and love amongst the masses. To celebrate this gift to the world, The Big Lebowski - 10th Anniversary Limited Edition release is right around the corner, hosting the film in a bowling ball. How appropriate, I mean, as long as we're not being asked to roll on Shabbos... Who am I kidding, there's a whole lot of stuff I'd do on Shabbos including rolling AND watching this movie!
You can pre-order The Big Lebowski - 10th Anniversary Limited Edition DVD from Amazon for the new marked down price of $23.99. Item ships September 9th (just in time for Shabbos!).

Hopefully this tee is the only place you'll see the insides of a wiimote. Then again, if you happen to crack your's open, you'll at least have a visual reference of how to stack it back together.
The Tii-Shirt is available from Wire and Twine for $20.00.

You'd think we'd be little more star-like since we've got ourselves 5 nifty fingers per hand. But even though we won't really be able to spread our phalangical appendages comfortably and evenly across each point of the star mouse, it'll still fit nicely, nestled under our palm.
The Computer-Mouse Star is available from Design3000 for about $44.00.
And now I'm going to have Prince stuck in my head all day... Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining.

I pity the fool who's neck hurts from all that bling. I understand, you want to be dashing and down right sexy. And honestly, lots and lots of gold chains can do that for you. But if you're hunched over because you just don't have the (sexy) neck muscles to hold that shiz up, then all of your noble efforts have gone to waste. Show the ladies that you're man enough with some glitz while sustaining the handsomest of posture with the Fool's Gold gold chain tie. What can I say! Us ladies LOVE shiny things.
The Fool's Gold tie is available from Cyberoptix in microfiber for $30.00 or silk (oh la la!) for $50.00.
Public transportation has its perks along with its drags. For me, when I was taking the bus my time over seas, it was my only means of transport, and a decent one at that even though we didn't have the smoothest of systems. I had a card and I could basically go just about anywhere at a "suitable" hour. Granted, partying till 7 in the morning wasn't considered a "suitable" hour on a Sunday. Psht! Still, there was still something that was so depressing about the bus and the time and energy it could suck out of you. Especially when you're waiting for that ride to school in the rain, snow and wind. If only Bruno Taylor had attacked the Icelandic bus stops as he did London with these swing sets, I probably would had been a much happier bunny.
71% of adults used to play on the streets when they were young. 21% of children do so now. Are we designing children and play out of the public realm?
This project is a study into different ways of bringing play back into public space. It focuses on ways of incorporating incidental play in the public realm by not so much as having separate play equipment that dictates the users but by using existing furniture and architectural elements that indicate playful behaviour for all.
It asks us to question the current framework for public space and whether it is sufficient while also giving permission for young people to play in public.
Play as you go…” Bruno Taylor.

Woah,I've never thought I'd see a map of Springfield o.O
LOL @ Tii-shirt!
And the star mouse and the swing on the street are just terrible abominations that shouldn't have been created.I mean what would adults think if they saw a 20 year old on a swing?-Fail.
Man, that star mouse looks uncomfortable. It's almost as bad as Apple's old circular mouse...almost.
The map and the bowling ball are pretty cool things. The rest can bite it today. Sorry Nikkita.
