Sex in Videogames
Posted 3 months ago by Ninjapino

The videogame industry has never had a very pleasent history with the idea of sex with the mass public.  Always bringing a slew of controversy no matter how it's done.  Even the most tastefully handled ideas of sex in this medium bring on floods of it.  We all remember the Mass Effect fun we had last year.  Well, a Savannah College student named Daniel Floyd has created what I consider the first really well done, poinient video addressing the issue.  It's quite entertaining and very well made.  Thought I'd share it with you all.

Hopefully, this is the start of something wonderful. Maybe if there were more well thought-out talks like this bringing this issue to a point, we could, just maybe, get out of this rut of the rest of the non-gamers thinking we amount to a bunch of 14 year olds going "hur hur....boobies" that they have to protect us from. (no offense Warofthecloverfield)

Neat video. It's nothing that hasn't been said before, but he brings it together in a coherent, well-though-out way that makes a lot of sense.

This is not just good, this is fantastic. I never thought I'd hear the words "intelligent conversation" and "video game sex" in the same sentence, but young Mr. Floyd has certainly given us a lot to think about.

I hope that this thing catches on, because people should really see this.

He says a lot of good things. I don't think he says anything that we all don't think already though. Though, his point about giving the next generation crap is spot on. I can't wait to poke kids with my cane.
