Hold your guns Tex!

I was just poking through some of the comments to my last blog and came across this gem :

"I personally think that bungie is one of the worst developers out there. They're just lazy. There's no originality in the weapon design, we have a main character who took no real thought to come up with (guy in green armor who dosen't speak so he dosen't need personality) and how many freakin times can we run through the same forerunnner structure or forrest or snow field? Don't even get me started on the last level either. They counldn't even come up with a new idea to end the "biggest videogame trilogy ever". Bungie has failed, and I will never buy another game from them ever."

I won't say who this was but I feel nowhere near this fellow. For what I saw as flaws ... If you want a different game, go play a different game.  My biggest qualm with it is that the glitches for Multiplayer all the same as the ones in Halo 2. Hell, I still have a plan to get all the meta-game achievements. If you're interrested, message me! or massage me!

I can see the pitchforks and torches in the distance now.....I didn't really care for Halo 2, but loved the rest of the series...and whoever said Bungie failed should go jump off a bridge....

Oni was cool. Tough controls, though. As for the Bungie comment:

"There's no originality in the weapon design" - name another game where you can buy a toy of the guns in the game

"a main character who took no real thought to come up with" - and has become one of the ten most recognizable characters in the history of games

"and how many freakin times can we run through the same forerunnner structure or forrest or snow field? - if you count every player individually? About 600 trillion.

A developer's job is to create successful games. Where it counts, Bungie is one of the best developers in the industry.

Bungie once made a little gem by the name of Oni. Great storyline, great action, 90% all-over. And I can only wonder if they'll return to it since they came out from under the wing (read: nut grab) of Microsoft.
