  Have not put down my PSP since this game came out. I still don't know how this game manages to be so addictive considering I don't like golf, but somehow it works.

- Final Fantasy VII details
  
  One of the greatest stories of any video game, ever, along with wonderful gameplay. This game defined RPGs for me and introduced me to one of the greatest series of all time. From the characters to the side quests to the summons to the original soundtrack, nothing about it is not perfect. And you may make fun of those primitive polygonal graphics now, but back in the day, they looked pretty damn good. I just played this through again for the first time in years, and it holds up wonderfully. I could not care less about the last-last-gen graphics, because the story is so wonderful and gameplay is still top-notch.
- Maniac Mansion details
  
  Early point-and-click adventure from LucasArts, then known as Lucasfilm Games, for which the legendary SCUMM engine was developed. Originated on PC and was ported to the NES in the early 90s. Great sense of humor, great characters, multiple endings, and brutally unforgiving.

  I have no idea how this game even made its way into my house, but man, I was all over this game when I was in fifth grade. This was the only shooter for me until I finally gave in and got into Halo.

  Don't dismiss it because of the Disney characters, it also has a really fantastic story. And Sephiroth is a scary bastard no matter what game he's in.

Zantagor: Aug 06, 2008 08:48PM; After playing SF3 for about 3 hours, I like what I played up to now. The game does feel like it should have been on PS2 though, but I don't see why IGN blasted the game so much really. Well, the voice acting IS kind of bad, wait until you hear the Bee sound _ . But the rest seemed pretty nice to me, even the musics.

Zantagor: Aug 06, 2008 02:55PM; not sure if I'll try it tonight, I also want to try out Braid, not sure I want to pay 1200 points for it though, I hear it's incredibly short. And I also want to finish Persona 3, which I'm in the last stretch of the game (before tackling The answer)

From what I gather, SF3 is a hit-or-miss game, you either like or hate it.
