Bio:

My name is Sarah LeBoeuf, and I really fucking love video games.

I've been playing games as long as I can remember. Gaming and writing have been the only two constants in my life since childhood. Now I get to do both on a daily basis.

I can't stop buying and acquiring old games and systems.

Formerly a GameStop employee, before that college student. I miss one of those things more than the other.

I'm always hungry, seriously. I love food.

I love Star Wars an obscene amount.

I also like rolling dice and reading comic books, and I'm sort of a crazy cat lady.

I might just be the nerdiest ever.

Be sure to check out TheQuarterbin for all your comic news, previews, interviews, and other nerdy goodness.

Sharks are cool. But not as cool as dinosaurs.

    Thank you!

  • Wow starting with Totodile was really hard. Either pokemon would have been easier to start with. I'm going to restart so I can get a cyndaquil and I'm making Jon start with Chickorita. That way we can all breed them twice and trade and have one of each =) Plus maybe I'll be able to get more than Hoothoots if I can find a day job =)

  • 1. What pokemons did you start with? I got probably the worst one to start with...

    2. Will you trade with me because all I can get are hoothoots... =(

    3. ARE YOU LIEKING POKEMANS?

  • I've stopped studying for my midterm specifically to come on here and see your awesome coverage on the new FF game. I loved the Game Genealogy video you guys put together for the series!!

My buying the new game will depend entirely on your review..... so..... no pressure, hahah. I've heard from people that so far it's pretty good. As long as it's nothing like 12 (or a far stretch from what 12 was like, both in story and gameplay), I'll consider getting it. You KNOW how I felt about 12. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Hope all is well for you guys! PS - I'm going to have a graduation party at the end of May and I would love if you guys could make it - I'll tell Chris to tell you when I know the date. See you soon! xo

  • I'm almost done with story mode, can't wait to really try out the online more seriously. But I'm getting side-tracked by other games now... like Reginleiv on wii, which is strangely addictive.

  • I took a quick break from the game to play some Ys: Oath of Felghana and Ys: Origins on PC, but I think I was around level 27, not sure how far I am in the singleplayer, I must be pretty close to the end. (Some of my friends have finished the game in 11hours, though they finished the japanese version before) They all recommended me to finish the storymode before going online on a serious matter. Personally, I like the game so far, the Georama part is pretty interesting and it makes it feel a lot like a MMO with all the material hunting you need to do.

The online part seems pretty robust from what I've seen so far too, easy to group with friends (you can just "Locate" them from Geonet and join which ever player town they're in, etc)

  • No , this is completely different . I'm sure Coop (or anyone else on Gamervision for that matter) will die once without having saved for a long time from instant death spells such as Hama or Mudo , and he will instantly deem the game cheap and lower the score, although anyone who has played a MegaTen title before knows that they can counter it by equipping demons with the right elemental affinity.

This happened even to Jeff Gertsmann of GiantBomb (former EIC of GameSpot) while playing Persona 4 for their video content Endruance Run. He lost 50 minutes progress because of a Hama spell. But he is smart enough to know how that it was his mistake and to handle it next time, by equipping the right Persona. Coop is an idiot without patience nor willingness to learn, as you can see in his Demon's Souls review.

By the way, do you approve of your new nickname, because that's your name right, Sarah LeButthole ?

Still Remain Still Remain Thu, 21 January 2010 10:02AM
  • Hey, butthole, please review SMT Strange Journey on March. Coop will probably die on the very first encounter before reaching a save point, and has to watch the whole opening cutscene all over again, because he has tactical understanding of a turtle being flipped on its back.

  • Same here! Bioshock is one of my all time favorite games, so I thought I should get the special edition of Bioshock 2 lol.
