- Chrono Trigger DS Gets European Release, New Screenshots
- Posted 3 weeks, 2 days ago by Sarah
Good news, Europe! You won’t be left out when Square Enix (finally) releases the SNES gem of an RPG, Chrono Trigger, on the DS. Of course, you will be getting it after the U.S. and Japan, but hey—it’s better than nothing, right? According to Square Enix, PAL regions will be getting Chrono Trigger sometime in “early 2009”, which could be anywhere from January to April, I’d guess. That’s still less than a year away, so rejoice, one and all!
And if that wasn’t enough for you, or you simply don’t care about Europe, fear not: I come bringing five screenshots for the handheld RPG. Of course, there’s really absolutely no need to look at them, because you already know you’re going to buy this game. But look at them anyway, just in case you forgot about Chrono Trigger DS, or you thought it was some really cool dream you had but way too good to be real.

Just as a reminder to my fellow North Americans, we’re supposed to have this game in late 2008. According to our sources, it will retail for $39.99 and be available at the beginning of December. Oh, Square Enix, you have made my Christmas just a little brighter.

A shame, really, how Europe gets the short end of the stick on many big releases.
