Guitar Hero World Tour Getting Good DLC in December
Posted About 1 month ago by Sarah

Harmonix may have wrangled the rights to The Beatles in recent months, but Activision is no slacker either, having gotten possibly the greatest song of all time, “Hotel California” by the Eagles, in their newest music game, Guitar Hero World Tour. Now they’ve got even more Eagles tunes coming this month via downloadable content, as well as music from Nirvana and the Smashing Pumpkins, and I am none too happy about it. Why? Because I passed on Guitar Hero World Tour in favor of Rock Band 2, a choice I didn't have any doubts about… until the Eagles got involved.

If that doesn’t excite you, there will also be some “free Reggae grooves” available for download by the end of the month. Here are the actual tracks included, which will be released throughout the month of December at $2 a song, $5.49 a set:

Nirvana track pack:

“You Know You’re Right”
“Negative Creep”
“Sliver”

Smashing Pumpkins track pack:

“G.L.O.W.”
“1979”
“Everlasting Gaze”

Eagles track pack:

“Frail Grasp on the Big Picture”
“One of These Nights”
“Life in the Fast Lane”

Free Reggae grooves:

Slightly Stoopid – “Jimi”
Pepper – “Your Face”
The Expendables – “Sacrifice”

Call me when "Hotel California" gets tossed in there.
