I don’t know about the rest of you PS3 owners, but I certainly got my money’s worth out of Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds, the first next-gen entry in the long-running series that was released earlier this year. However, we all know using the same old characters over and over again can get a little stale. Luckily, Sony is finally putting out some downloadable content for the addictive golf game, which will make its way to the PlayStation Store this week.

The new content will be two golfers, available for 99 cents apiece. Longtime fans of the series will recognize Gloria, who will be an expert. Her new friend is Alex, an intermediate-level golfer. If you were hoping for new courses or any other additional content, well, you’re out of luck.



A dollar each isn’t a steep price to pay for a little more variety in Out of Bounds, but I’d probably be more willing to shell out for extra courses. The game came with 15 characters, most of which had to be unlocked, but only 6 courses. Still, I’m hoping that this is the beginning of a trend, and that Sony will continue to support this game with additional DLC. If that’s the case, I may never stop playing it.
