- LittleBigPlanet Delayed. Again.

During Sony’s PlayStation Day in London, President Kaz Hirai had a big announcement to make about LittleBigPlanet, a game that PS3 owners have been drooling over since the game was first announced. Could it be a solid release date? That the game is entering beta, maybe? Or at least that it could go five minutes without crashing? Of course not! According to Kotaku, Hirai told the press that instead of meeting its September date, the game is now slated for an October release.
I won’t tell you exactly what my reaction was when I heard this news, but rest assured it was loaded with profanity and anger. Not because I’m so impatient that I can’t wait an extra month for this game, but because I’m now even more doubtful that LittleBigPlanet will see the light of day in 2008. I really want this game to be mind-blowingly good, and it’s even one of the reasons I bought a PS3 to begin with. However, with the release date slipping further and further away, and no news of progress from Sony, I can no longer have blind faith that this game will magically make it out this year. Let’s stop kidding ourselves, shall we? Just push it back to 2009 now and call it a day.

I've said it before, and I'm sure I'll say it again: this game will be worth every single delay.
