I know I was not the only PS3 owner whose heart was broken with the announcement of LittleBigPlanet’s delay. Instead of a spring ’08 release, we’re now not going to see it until September at the earliest. However, this Sony staffer is here to tease us with some gameplay footage while assuring us that the public beta for this game is still in the works.
The beta, which will be available sometime before the game releases (yup, that’s not too vague at all), will allow players to create their own levels that will live on the game’s servers. You can hear it all for yourself in this lovely video.
All I have to say is this: patience be damned, I WANT IT NOW!
