I have never been so constantly disappointed by a game I’ve been seriously looking forward to in my life as I have with LittleBigPlanet. Constant delays, as annoying as they may be, are more acceptable, because I’d rather have a delayed product that’s fantastic than a rushed game that is a mess. However, every day this game manages to do something else that causes me to have a rage blackout. Today, it was the announcement from Sony that the open beta they’ve been promising for months and months is totally not happening. Sony also announced that Santa Claus isn’t real and that you were adopted.



According to PS3 Fanboy, the news comes from two members of the development team of LittleBigPlanet, who stated that the beta for this game will be only be for members of an internal Sony team. I could remain hopeful that Sony will allow at least some limited access to the press or public, but this game has completely destroyed my ability to hope. I still believe that when the game actually launches, it will be wonderful, but until then, I will be sitting in a corner and sulking away.
