- LostWinds Sequel in the Works

As we reported earlier, yesterday was the American launch of Nintendo’s Wiiware service. We spent most of the day at Gamervision HQ checking out the launch line-up, and one of Wiiware’s most charming and promising titles was LostWinds. The game has been getting critical acclaim, and Frontier Developments is clearly pleased enough with the game’s reception to sort-of officially announce a sequel.
The news comes from the Frontier Developments website, where you can register to receive “advance information on Frontier's forthcoming LostWinds sequel containing amazing new gameplay as Toku and Enril's incredible adventure to save Mistralis continues.” No other information is given about the next game in the LostWinds series, such as a potential release date or gameplay information, but I’m guessing it won’t be long before we start to hear more. It seems that Wiiware is off to a good start, which is definitely promising. Hopefully Nintendo will keep the momentum going with a steady stream of fun and quirky Wiiware games.

Not surprising, in the video interview on Gametrailers, I remember he said that this was supposed to be an episodic game.
