Man With History of Violence Stabs Uncle
Posted About 1 year ago by Sarah
As if the tragic Mortal Kombat murder of a little girl wasn’t bad enough for the video game industry, the Chattanooga Times is reporting that a 37-year-old man stabbed his uncle in a fight over a video game.

Antonio Castillo, who has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault, is also facing charges for a prior unrelated assault in Philadelphia. His uncle, Luis Alberto Santana, is currently in critical condition, though police report that his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

There’s no word on which game they were actually playing, only that it was a “PlayStation game”. Thanks, could you vague that up a little more? The two of them could have been playing Bust-a-Move 2 for all we know. But of course, the media has chosen to focus on that tiny and irrelevant detail and not the fact the stabber had a history of violence and was clearly unstable. You really have to love the media. Looks like Christmas has come early for Jack Thompson this year!

When people kill other people while bowling, no one blames the bowling alley...
