- MarioKart Wii Dated For April

April is always my favorite month of the year for multiple reasons, one of them being that it is the month of my birthday. This year, to commemorate being a quarter of a century old, the video game industry is giving me some presents. In addition to the other little game coming out in April, it appears that MarioKart Wii is also due out that month.
That’s right, kart racing fans! MarioKart Wii is now dated and reservable. As of now, the game has a tentative April 1 release date, and while nothing is written in stone with game releases these days, I’m hoping they don’t stray too far from that one. Personally, this is one that I can’t wait to get my hands on.

Nah, we'll be lucky to see this game on this side of 2008, with the history Nintendo has of delaying everything. Oh, and are they inventing some sort of plastic insert-your-Wiimote-here steering wheel for this game? Or has that already been done?

We would like it to come out in April, but based on Nintendo's past record of Wii releases, I doubt it will happen. Metroid Prime 3 was delayed once or twice and Super Smash Brothers Brawl has been delayed twice, so far.
I'd rather remain pessimistic than be disappointed if the game gets delayed for several months.
Well, now that you jinxed it! Yeah, I thought there was a chance that might happen. Sigh...
April is going to rule! Bet this will get delayed, though...
