- Soul Calibur IV Gets New Release Date and Gameplay Footage
- Posted 4 months, 1 weeks ago by Sarah
Soul Calibur IV, one of the year’s most anticipated fighting games, has finally gotten an “official” release date. I guess the game’s previously listed date of June 25 was just a lie, then. At any rate, Soul Calibur IV is now shipping on July 29, so fighting fans will have just a little longer to wait.
However, you may want to use that time to save up an extra 20 bucks, because Namco Bandai has also announced that there will be an $80 collector’s edition for the game. As expected, the Soul Calibur IV collector’s edition will come in a shiny metal tin. It will also include a comic book, some extra customization content, and a tournament kit. Whatever that means.
Still not satisfied? Well, how about this new gameplay video featuring Yoda and Darth Vader? Maybe this will tide you over a little bit. Or maybe it will make you even more impatient for Soul Calibur IV to be released. Enjoy!
