- Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Delayed

April 2008, which has been shaping up to be a major new release month, just got a little less crowded. According to Gamervision sources, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, which was previously listed as having an early April release date, has just been pushed back until September.
While this is disappointing news, I can’t say I’m extraordinarily surprised. After all, Force Unleashed has “holiday title” written all over it, and we haven’t had any major delays in a little while. Hopefully we won’t see any further delays on this title and the game will still make it out in ’08.

Unfortunately, big delays rarely improve what will always be a dog of a game.
dang it.
I personally would rather have the game delayed and be fantastic
I think when a game is automatically in the "good game" category it is always doomed to be plagued with multiple delays....
It's listed on Amazon as July now so who knows at this point.
SO saw this coming, but that doesn't make it any less sad...
When I talked to people at GDC who saw this game, they were very worried. The impression was hat it just wasn't ready. Choppy animations were a big complaint. Looks like they were right. I am glad they are delaying it....I want this game to be amazing.
Delays delays delays. This year seems like lots of promises. Still waiting on the payouts. GTA better stay on track!
