1. a major form of Japanese verse, written in 17 syllables divided into 3 lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables, and employing highly evocative allusions and comparisons, often on the subject of nature or one of the seasons.
2. a poem written in this form.
Contest [con . test] noun-
1. a race, conflict, or other competition between rivals, as for a prize.
2. struggle for victory or superiority.
3. strife in argument; dispute; controversy: Their marriage was marred by perpetual contest.

Greetings grasshoppers. The poet Robert Graves once said, "There's no money in poetry, but then there's no poetry in money either." And as much as there is truth in that statement, Gamervision and the DotA eXtreme Domniation League would like to challenge the idea that poems are completely without financial recompense.
So today we are announcing the "Gamervision/DotA eXtreme Domination League Haiku Contest". Here's the rules:
1. Log-in to your Gamervision account.
2. Click on your "Manage Articles" button
3. Create a "Blog" with the first word in the title being, "Haiku"
4. In the body of the blog, write a haiku poem on what gaming means to you.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON WILL BE CONSIDERED! ALSO, YOUR PROFILE MUST HAVE AN AVATAR PICTURE OR YOUR SUBMISSION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Our staff of English majors and tea-sipping snobs will carefully reflect upon each and every entry while stroking our Van Dyke beards and on Friday June 27th we will declare a winner!
Now for the prizes!
First prize: A Razer DeathAdder 3G Infared Gaming Mouse, a Squishable, and a Gamervision T-shirt.
Second Prize: A Plantronics Gaming Headset and a Gamervision T-shirt.
Third Prize: A Gamervision Hoodie and a Gamervision T-shirt
Honorable Mention: All entries that recieve an "honorable mention" will receive Gamervision T-shirts.
Again, the contest runs until Friday June 27th at noon Eastern Time. So get your poetic juices flowing and win yourself some swag!

I haven't had the chance to use the Deathadder yet, but my Razer Diamond back is amazing. Great quality from those mouses. To be honest, I'm just in it for the shirt.
