Poor Liberty City sure has fallen on hard times. With so many parents' groups, lawyers, and self-appointed experts expending countless hours and resources to decry this tarnished jewel of a city, it's easy to overlook the finer parts. I mean sure, there are pimps, hookers, and violent street crime at every turn. But there is also a bustling theater district, fine dining, and miles of scenic shoreline.
It seems like the biggest problem facing the city is not the crime (okay, well, maybe it's the crime) but rather the rest of the world's image of Liberty City as a cesspool of inequity and death. Liberty City needs an image makeover!
That's where you come in!
Virginia has, "Virginia is for Lovers!", New York can boast, "I Love New York", and everyone knows that "What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas". We need you to come up with a slogan for Liberty City that will change the minds and hearts of all the cynics and haters. The winning slogan will be awarded with a brand spanking new copy of Grand Theft Auto IV for the system of his/her choice!
HOW TO ENTER:
In the comments section of this blog, simpy leave your best ad slogan for Liberty City. Text is fine, but feel free to make it a photo campaign, or even a short video extolling the city's many virtues. It's entirely up to you!
On Friday, we will pick the best slogan or campaign and award the creator with a GTA prize-pack, including a copy of GTA IV for either system, a GTA t-shirt, stickers, and more. We'll also be awarding other creative slogans with copies of Dark Sector, Destroy All Humans: Big Willy Style, sweatshirts, t-shirts, stickers, and much much more!
So get working on those ad campaigns, and start posting them! Liberty City will thank you for it!
