- British Retailers to Have a Hard Time Meeting GTA IV Pre-Orders
- Posted 7 months, 2 weeks ago by Sean

According to a report on British gaming site MCV, gamers in the UK who want to get a copy of Rockstar's inevitable mega-hit Grand Theft Auto IV on its launch date of April 29th had better pre-order. Or rather, they better have already pre-ordered.
The report states that retailers are already worrying about their ability to keep up with the sheer volume of orders that have already come in. As if to further confirm this report, British retailer Play.com's head of games Gian Luzio is already saying that GTA IV is "far and away" their fastest selling PS3 title to date, and that 360 sales are not far behind.
Luzio told MCV:
"This is the biggest ever title for PS3 by a long way - and probably 360 as well. I've been really blown away by how quickly it's sold on PS3. Sales have gone crazy and have proven to be a real hardware driver already. We've sold out now, but will be getting in more stock as soon as it becomes available."
So bear in mind all ye chaps and birds, make sure you have your pre-order ticket in hand on the 29th. Otherwise, there's no telling how many fortnights you may have to wait.
