Episode Seven of Qore to be Free
Posted About 1 month ago by Sean

Since it was first announced six months ago, Sony's monthly infotainment magazine Qore has stuggled to find and/or keep an audience. Although it has offered some cool beta access and game demos, PSN members have been seemingly reticent to pony up the $2.99 to watch Sony developers tout their wares. What's a giant electronics and distribution conglomerate to do with a show they've clearly invested so much in? Taking a page from drug dealers and credit card companies, Sony has decided to give you your first taste free.

That's right, tonight's PlayStation Store update will offer Episode 7 of Qore for the amazingly low low price of zero dollars. The episode will feature an look at the upcoming Skate 2, a trip to Capcom to discuss Bionic Commando, and a downloadable Killzone 2 theme. There is also going to be a feature on Codemasters' upcoming Damnation, described on the PS blog as "a post-modern third person-shooter served with a Jules Verne twist", which I have to admit intrigues me more than a little bit.

What do you think? Is this offering of goodies at this new and improved price point going to be enough to get you to watch Qore?

Are they trying to get people into it? Apparently so. I'll download the free edition. Why not?
