Unless you've been living under a rock (get it? rock?), you've heard of a little game called Guitar Hero. Or perhaps you're more familiar with its younger yet more popular brother named Guitar Hero II. Aspiring rock gods the world over have become hooked to, well, to the hooks and the licks of jamming out to your favorite song, or learning new material. Hipsters, geeks, and parents alike have been nodding their heads and tapping their toes to hits from the likes of Butthole Surfers, Nirvana and even Trogdor.

Well, the first band has been announced for the next installment in the Guitar Hero saga (I guess there's a lot of unresolved storylines?) So who's the first act to sign on?
