the house is awesome. we are having such a good time! there are still a ton of boxes to unpack (it never ends, i think they may actually be spawning more boxes while we're at work) but even so we've gotten a lot done so far. and we're only a little over a week in!

The cording for your 360 depends on which 360 you buy. The Elite ($450) comes with the HDMI port, the HDMI cable, a 120GB hard drive, and is all black.

The 360 Pro ($350) comes with component cables, the HDMI port, but no cable, a 20GB hard drive, and is all white.

The 360 Arcade ($280) comes with standard def. component cables, 256MB jump drive (memory card) and no headset. It's also all white.

There is a really good chart on the bottom left hand side of this page on the Xbox site.

If I had it to do over again, I would probably go for the Elite. The problem with getting an Elite now is that I only have two HDMI ports in my TV and they're both currently occupied (cable and PS3).

I think you should start yourself off with the 360- more games to play on it in all honesty. The PS3 looks really pretty, but it just isn't quite there yet.

Things with the move are going at a reasonable pace. We're packing like 2-3 boxes every night. It's going to be weird because although our lease starts on 04/01, our current lease is going to run until 04/15. So I'm in this weird position of trying to stagger having utilities turned on/off.

How's the new place working for you guys? Paige told me you were looking to get a new tv?

you know, SSBB definitely deserves another chance. we only played it one evening, but at some point i do want to go back and try to get further into it.

our apartment is currently box city! they're everywhere... full ones stacked up to chest level and empty ones in stacks on the floor. plus we're using newspaper to wrap everything, so tons of those too and that inky smell! but i'm too excited to care at the moment :)

i heard you started ripping down some old stuff last weekend! when is the big screen arriving?

Yeah, we found the house, but the securing the mortgage is a whole different hassle... we're working on it.
