Splatterhouse Making a Comeback: Classic Namco Horror Acton Game Making a Comeback to Next Gen.; Posted 1 week, 1 days ago by Strider_Reborn

I'm psyched and Excited that a Classic Beat'em up / Horror Game is making a Major Comeback. It was one of the first Horror-themed Action games and one of the first to have blood. It was Called Splatterhouse.

Some of the Inspiration behind Splatterhouse was both the Friday the 13th and Evil Dead Films. The Only Difference is that The Protagonist Rick Taylor wore a mask that was a Living Mystical Entity who helped Augement his powers and abilities.

Sean: May 05, 2008 09:31AM; I loved the Turbo Grafix version, but I'm with binaryfiend on this one... not much hope for the next-gen retelling of the story. I mean, I had my hopes up so high for Turok, and that turned out to be a fairly smelly and steaming pile of shit.
